Fundraising
I do several Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and American Lung Association fundraising efforts each year. I am a strong believer and have a personal connection with both of these groups and enjoy challenging myself with the various fundraising activities they have.

I'm a mama of two wonderful girls, living on the east side of Seattle with my husband, step-son, two daughters and a chocolate lab, who passionately loves the mountains and SQL Server. Oh, I'm also a geek, an architect/engineer, a darn good cook, movie fanatic, part-time couch potato as well as an occasional writer.
I am a hands on manager of a small DB team at the very cool company located at Seattle. I have been a SQL DBA for over ten years. Any more background and I risk revealing my age, so I will stop there.
I am enjoying what I do and absolutely love the SQL community. Honestly, I actually do learn something new everyday and I hope that I can contribute something back to help others the way others have helped me.
